Following the baby milestone week by week can be an interesting to make sure you do not want to miss every stage of your baby development. - 1 month
The first month, you are still preoccupied with changing diapers, breastfeeding, responding to their wail and settling the baby to sleep. They will recognize your face, voice and touch after a few weeks. Baby’s hearing begins to develop at the first 1 month. He can start to look at your familiar voice while move and touch his own mouth. Although the baby has started to lift his head slightly, but his head and neck still need support.
- 3 month
Your 3-month old baby has begun to imitate your voice and facial expressions. You no longer need to support his head because he has started to lift his head and his own chest. His eyes coordination has develop and can recognize your face from across the room. His hands are able to grasp and starting to move objects around him.
- 4 to 7 month
Your baby milestone week by week will be more interesting as time goes by. Stepping on the age of 4 to 7 months, the baby usually laughs, smiles, starting babbling conversation, roll to his tummy and sit by himself. At this age, babies will be more sensitive to your tone of voice. So, you have to be careful when calling his name and when saying “no”. While in the age of 6 months, the baby is ready to start solid food. You have to make sure to childproof your home as he will start exploring.
- 7 to 12 month
Following baby milestone yearly could become a valuable opportunity. At age 7 to 12 months, the baby begun to learn to crawl, running and bouncing. He started learning to call your name and try to communicate with people around him.
You can support him by giving him a praise when he managed to do something. The baby sometimes feel confused at the age of 7 to 12 months. So, you can help her to focus by giving him a toy or inviting him to do the activity that he likes.
- 13 to 24 months
Entering the baby milestone yearly in the second year, your toddler will start to walk by himself, go up and down stairs, kick a ball and run. His language skills have also grow, and he’s beginning to understand the meaning of words even though they have not been able to pronounce them all in long sentences. Toddler also gets interested in playing dolls, learn to use a toilet, pretend to talking over the play phone, washing his hands and eating using his own cutlery.
